We are a heavy civil and infrastructure contractor. We build in six sectors: civil and road infrastructure, bridges and structures, commercial and industrial buildings, municipal utilities and heavy earthworks, data centres and mission-critical facilities, and military-grade construction. We are not a residential builder.
Sectors are the markets we build in — the kind of project. Services are the specialist methods we build with, such as horizontal directional drilling, microtunneling or deep foundations. A single project usually sits in one sector and draws on several of those methods.
HDD, augering and pipe ramming, microtunneling, direct pipe installation, shaft construction, and deep foundations and shoring are all delivered by our own crews and equipment. That matters because it means the method is selected on ground conditions and risk rather than on what a subcontractor happens to own, and the schedule stays under our control.
It is decided by the ground, the crossing length, the grade tolerance and what sits above. Auger boring gives the grade accuracy a gravity sewer needs over shorter spans. Pipe ramming handles cobbles and boulders that would stop an auger. HDD suits long steerable crossings under rivers and highways. Microtunneling is for deep, grade-critical drives below the water table where surface settlement cannot be tolerated. We make that call from the geotechnical investigation, not from precedent.
Yes — most of our work is done that way. Road corridors are delivered under a traffic accommodation strategy agreed with the road authority before mobilisation. Live plants and data centres are worked under written methods of procedure with a defined rollback and an agreed window, approved in advance by the client's operations group. Expect night and weekend work to be part of the programme.
Our preconstruction group reviews the design before it goes to tender, prices it, and raises the constructability, ground and staging conflicts that are inexpensive to resolve on paper and costly to resolve in the field. You get cost certainty and a realistic programme before award rather than a series of change orders after it.
A COR-certified safety programme with daily hazard assessment and documented toolbox meetings on every site, plus competency requirements matched to the work — certified traffic control on live corridors, confined-space entry with continuous atmospheric monitoring in shafts and wet wells, and fall protection on structures. Excavation is treated as the primary hazard wherever it occurs: trench protection is engineered for the ground actually encountered and existing utilities are located and daylighted before a bucket moves.
Yes. That includes road authority and municipal approvals, in-stream work scheduled inside fisheries timing windows, erosion and sediment control, dewatering discharge quality, and reclamation. On defence and secure projects we also work under the contract's personnel screening and information-handling requirements.

You can attach your capability statement, prequalification and insurance certificates with the request.
Company and contact details, the trade or package you intend to price, and — depending on the project — evidence of prequalification, WCB or WSIB clearance, insurance, and bonding capacity. Requirements are stated on each tender; if you are unsure whether you qualify, ask us before the closing date rather than after it.
We deliver projects across Canada, including remote and northern locations where access is seasonal. Our remote capability covers barge, winter road and air logistics, self-contained camps, and independent power, water and waste systems, which is what allows a project several hundred kilometres from the nearest supplier to hold its schedule.
