Defence and security work changes the constraints rather than the construction. The concrete, steel and earthworks are familiar; what differs is that the site is controlled, the personnel are screened, the drawings are protected, and the specification is written for a structure that has to perform under conditions no commercial building is designed for.

We deliver hardened and blast-resistant structures, secure operational and communications facilities, perimeter security and access control, vehicle maintenance and storage compounds, and the remote camps and supporting infrastructure that make an installation habitable and self-sufficient.

Much of this work is in locations where nothing arrives quickly. Our remote delivery capability — barge, winter road and air logistics, self-contained camps, and independent power, water and waste systems — is what allows a project to hold schedule several hundred kilometres from the nearest supplier, in a season that may close without warning.

Hardened structures: Blast-resistant and ballistic-rated construction, protective barriers, berms and reinforced enclosures.
